Matt created ImportMeet.com in 2011 after noticing a lack of media websites dedicated exclusively to import cars. Although he's employed as an engineer and has no formal training in journalism, his skills continue to develop as the editor for the site. He enjoys writing feature car articles, technical build/project articles, and organizing events. Matt drives a 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road and a 1990 LS-swapped Mazda RX-7.

Kyle's signature on the forum is: "Boost it, break it, rebuild it stronger, repeat process…" and he lives by this motto with every car he owns. His obsession with boost began with a Dodge Turbo Diesel that he started to build right after finishing high school. Although he bought the truck stock, it didn't take him long to source every part imaginable to make 727 horsepower and run a 13.4 @ 105 MPH quarter mile. Shortly after achieving his goal of owning one of the fastest trucks in his hometown, he knew he wanted something smaller and faster. He knew…

I recently had the opportunity to drive a brand new Storm Silver Metallic 2011 Honda CR-Z. When this car was first announced, along with many other Honda fans, I was ecstatic. There have been many iterations of this concept car with the latest being the closest to production. Details from the Scion press release state that the FR-S stands for Front-engine, Rear-wheel drive, Sport. The car was inspired by the AE86 Corolla in the sense that the goal for the FR-S was…

Yesterday I attended the Honda-Tech meet at Pacific Raceways in Kent with some other members of Import Meet. We had a great time despite the amount of rain we had. The event was very well organized with only one incident that I know of. NOS Energy Drinks and Gravity Motorsports were great sponsors and I also saw a large booth from Speedfactory. There were probably around 1000 cars throughout the day and this was one of the largest meets I have ever went to. There we so many awesome cars that we had a difficult time capturing all of the…
