Lately I've been contemplating building a track car that can bring exposure to the site and also a build that everyone can follow on the blog. The only criteria I have at this point is that it must be able to compete in drifting, drag racing, and autocross events.

HERE WE GO! The 2026 @nwsubarufest is right around the corner at our brand new venue! @lemaymarymount is an incredible facility that we can`t wait to share with everyone (this is not the one near the Tacoma Dome). Parking on the grass will be significantly more comfortable than pavement in August.

UP NEXT for us is @nwsubarufest on Sunday, August 9! This is one of the few ALL Subaru event`s in the NW and our third year hosting. The big change this year is our venue swap to @lemaycollectionsmarymount in Tacoma. There is some confusion as to which LeMay this is - to be clear it is NOT the one near the Tacoma Dome. We had an awesome time at @driftcon Track Takeover last weekend! For the first time ever we helped host the @drivekendausa Overland & Truck Show and it was a great turnout. Big thank you to everyone who supported our new event, @supersummermeet on Saturday. This was an experiment with how we could throw an evening event and the unpredictable weather made it super difficult to organize and more importantly promote. We appreciate those who still came out and participated despite wet conditions all over the NW.
We’ve already started thinking of how to improve things and know that with a better weather forecast the turnout would have been higher. We also need to seriously consider whether renting such a big facility with so many competing events in the early summer is feasible. The number of smaller meets, shows, and other events in general has quadrupled in the last couple of years.
