For the second year in a row, NWMotiv’s inMotion was held at Evergreen Speedway in Monroe, Washington on September 28, 2013. With the primary portion of the event being the indoor car show, the fact that it was raining all day didn’t change the turnout of the show much.

Big thank you to everyone who supported our new event, @supersummermeet on Saturday. This was an experiment with how we could throw an evening event and the unpredictable weather made it super difficult to organize and more importantly promote. We appreciate those who still came out and participated despite wet conditions all over the NW.
We’ve already started thinking of how to improve things and know that with a better weather forecast the turnout would have been higher. We also need to seriously consider whether renting such a big facility with so many competing events in the early summer is feasible. The number of smaller meets, shows, and other events in general has quadrupled in the last couple of years.

We are so excited to announce that @sportdrivingmotors will be providing ride-alongs starting at 4pm and running until we shut down the track around 10pm at @theplacetorace. Our event with StanceWars at @theplacetorace will be held from 4-10pm which we hope is late enough in the day that whatever the weather is going to do is done by then.
