Onto a Bigger and Better Venue #springfestseattle2019

As you may have heard, we are changing venues for the season opener this year. After the disaster that was SpringFest Seattle 2018 at Wild Waves in Federal Way we figured the only thing we could do was go big or to stop hosting these events.

Mike (StanceWars) and I had a meeting right after the event and decided that Pacific Raceways was the only venue that can handle the huge number of cars and spectators properly.
We know there are questions and we’ll try to answer them below.

SpringFest Seattle 2019 is March 2, 2019 at Pacific Raceways in Kent, WA. All makes and models are welcome to attend.

Why isn’t the season opener free anymore?
Because race tracks and insurance aren’t cheap. It’s a huge risk to put on an event in early March in the PNW. The only way that this can work is to get a bunch of people to attend and pay the minimal fee to get in. We intentionally kept the price as low as possible to make sure that ANYONE can attend.

Please help make sure the event is successful by getting your friends to show up!

What’s the ticket breakdown?
If you’re just a spectator it’s only $5 to get in the gates. If you want to attend and park in the pit parking it’s only $10. Pit parking will be in the area that is normally reserved for drag racers. Heads up – these prices will be increasing closer to the event. Make sure to get your tickets now!

If you have a car that you normally enter in all of the shows throughout the year we HIGHLY RECOMMEND signing up for $35 Showcase Parking. These will be the best spots in the venue and up close to the action. Showcase Parking includes ONE passenger entry.

Want to be with your friends and still feel like you’re a part of the event? $25 VIP Parking is for you. These spots will be located on the back half of the upper paddock. VIP Parking includes ONE passenger entry.

What can we do at the event?
The meet will happen rain or shine. The goal is for everyone to have a relaxed time and show off the progress of their winter build or to get their car out of storage for the day. Like the XXX Import Meet and Golden Gardens just being in the proximity of so many car enthusiasts early in the season is guaranteed to be a good time.

Everything else is weather permitting. If it looks like we will have nice weather leading up to the event we can open up registration for drag racing. If it’s sprinkling or lightly raining we will be having Lead / Follow on the road course. If it’s dry enough we’ll also be setting up a burnout box to SAFELY put on a smoke show with your car.

Will there be food?
We plan on having a larger number of food trucks than we did at SpringFest Seattle last year. Nobody likes waiting in line when they want to check out the rest of the event. We plan on having a wide variety of offerings and hopefully fast-moving lines.

Have a food truck and want to attend? Sign up on our ticket registration page below.

Can I be a sponsor or vendor?
Yes! We are looking for companies that want to get exposure at one of the largest events of the year. Rates are extremely affordable for an event of this size. Email info@importmeet.com for more information.

How can I invite my friends? RSVP on the event page and spread the word -> SpringFest Seattle 2019
