On June 17th, Ryan Cutuli and I were able to attend Evergreen Drift Round 3 at Evergreen Speedway in Monroe, WA. Although the clouds above the track looked ominous, it didn't start raining until the end of the day. This was the first dry event this year at Evergreen.

It was an interesting day. Even though it was dry, there were a few crashes. One of the first was Anthony Pittman in his Miata that went off the track on the 3/8's and landed with it's rear on the large tires. A video of this crash was captured by Justin Gepner here. Thankfully, Anthony was alright and the car was still driveable (from what we saw on Facebook). Right after qualifying, it started to rain on and off.

Towards the end, the battle between Kory Keezer and Rob Primo was pretty epic. It was nice to see Kory drifting again and we look forward to seeing him at future events.

Grassroots Results:
1st: Thomas Skarshaug
2nd: Andrew Priest
3rd: Chris Goldie-Wells

Pro-Am Results:
1st: Victor Moore
2nd: Nik Jimenez
3rd: Kory Keezer

Congratulations to everyone who placed well. It was great to see some old drivers back on the track again. We can't wait for round 4 and 5.

Matt created ImportMeet.com in 2011 after noticing a lack of media websites dedicated exclusively to import cars. Although he's employed as an engineer and has no formal training in journalism, his skills continue to develop as the editor for the site. He enjoys writing feature car articles, technical build/project articles, and organizing events. Matt drives a 2023 Honda Civic Type R and a 1990 LS-swapped Mazda RX-7.

Lol, what can I say, I love all things s15, and since we can’t get them here I settle for all things s15 converted… lol, or at least s14 and s13 fastbacks… the s13 coupes are just too squared off to look right with that front end imo
