Fast Five – New Fast and Furious Movie Teaser Trailer

Today, Universal Pictures released their latest teaser trailer for Fast Five, the next installment in the Fast and the Furious franchise.  With already over 2 million views and over 4700 likes on YouTube, it appears that this one will be just as successful as the past movies.  Vin Diesel and Paul Walker return in this one alongside Tyrese Gibson and Jordana Brewster.

The plot appears to be structured around the final scene in Fast and Furious when Mia and Brian break Dom out of custody and the repercussions that they face after doing this.  They must pull one final job to get freedom (for like the 5th time, hence the title) which may mean that this is the final episode in the Fast and the Furious saga.

This one is sure to be filled with non-stop action and ridiculous stunts as in previous movies.  In the trailer it appears that there are less import cars in this version, but I'm sure all of you will still go and see it as I will.  Look forward to a review by myself on opening night when I go see this with all of the high school kids.  Leave some comments as to what you think about the franchise and(or) this movie.

(Update:  I just noticed that the 350Z in the trailer below is sporting some Bridgestone RE-11 tires.  Badass tires!)

Matt created ImportMeet.com in 2011 after noticing a lack of media websites dedicated exclusively to import cars. Although he's employed as an engineer and has no formal training in journalism, his skills continue to develop as the editor for the site. He enjoys writing feature car articles, technical build/project articles, and organizing events. Matt drives a 2023 Honda Civic Type R and a 1990 LS-swapped Mazda RX-7.

So many people try to talk down on these movies but if you’re into the cars then they’re great to go see. I’m definitely planning to check out this one!
