Membership

At Import Meet, there are varying levels of membership and sponsorship which are outlined below.  To view most of the content on the site, you must register as a Member.  For a small annual fee, you can upgrade your account to become a Premium Member.  Commercial companies may also register on Import Meet as a sponsor, but this requires an application process and a quarterly fee.  If you have any questions, concerns or suggestions regarding these levels, feel free to email us at membership@importmeet.com at any time.

Guests:

  • View all posts and articles written by Import Meet staff
  • View the classified section of the site (you must be a member to contact a seller regarding a part for sale)
  • Browse any local import meets that may be going on in your area (you must be a member to post a meet)
  • Browse the Import Meet forum (you must be a member to post or create a thread)

Members:

  • All of the privileges of Guests
  • Access to the Import Meet store (apparel, swag, etc.)
  • May contact (email/PM) the seller of an item in the classifieds and arrange a place to meet to buy the item
  • May post an unlimited number of classified ads within the Import Meet Classifieds
  • Reduced number of ads throughout the site
  • Can create meets in your area for exclusive models (vehicle must be an import) or for all imports
  • Can create threads or post replies in the forum
  • May PM other members, although the mailbox is limited to 20 saved messages
  • Able to submit your car to become an "Import Meet Featured Car"

Premium Members/Founding Members:

  • All of the privileges of Members & Guests
  • 10% off of everything in the Import Meet store
  • Access to quality full resolution photos of your vehicle taken at events that Import Meet sponsors
  • Significantly reduced number of ads on the site (only ads from Import Meet sponsors will be seen)
  • Can create exclusive "Premium Members Only" meets so that only other dedicated members can view the details
  • Have access to the Premium Member forums (Hot Chicks)
  • PM inbox is significantly increased to 100 saved messages
  • Able to upload photos and videos that are hosted on Import Meet (Under construction)

Founding members are members of the site that have been granted full access to Import Meet from being an early adopter of the site.  To become a founding member, please click here.  Your account will be reviewed and if you meet the criteria, you will be granted a lifetime Founding Membership to Import Meet.  Thank you for your support of the site in its infancy!
